Golden Bay Community Health – Te Hauora o Mohua Trust

Golden Bay Community Health – Te Hauora o Mohua Trust is a locally-based charitable trust that fundraised for and built the Golden Bay Integrated Family Health Centre (GBIFHC) in Central Takaka. This was only possible through the incredible generosity of many people and organisations in the Golden Bay community and many hours of  volunteer time.

The Trust is often referred to as the Property Trust as we own the building and lease it through the Nelson Marlborough District Health Board (NMDHB) to Nelson Bays Primary Health, (NBPH) which runs all the services based at the integrated health centre.

The Trust is responsible for maintaining the building and ensuring it meets all the required standards. Where we can we work with NBPH to fund improvements to the building and facilities.

To maintain and improve a building the size and scale of this is expensive. As a charitable trust we welcome donations to enable us to continue with our programme of improvements.
